Maywood Evangelical Free Church is a congregationally ruled body that endows an Elder's Council with the responsibility of leadership. There are other leadership boards and committees (ex: Deacon Board, Mission Committee) but they are all accountable to the Elder's Council. The Elder's Council is accountable to the congregation and ultimately to the Lord Jesus Christ.
