Do you want your kids to know that there's more to this world than their friends and family? Do you want them to see that there's a huge world out there waiting to hear about the one man who died so that we could truly live? Children have a strategic role to play while they're still children! They don't have to wait to grow up before they can make an important contribution to God's kingdom.
Outside the Lines: Connecting Kids to God's Global Purpose helps kids see the world as God sees it and teaches them how they can take action. The Sunday School class presents a concise, biblical worldview; allowing kids to discover God's purpose and plan of salvation for all nations.

6th Grade
The sixth graders are promoted to the Junior High Summer Sunday School class in room 109.

Specifically designed for 1st through 4th graders, the purpose of our "Uptown" program is to teach children to know the depths of scripture and to walk in obedience toward maturity. The desire is to prepare the kids for adult worship. This takes place while parents attend the second worship service. Children will be dismissed from the service to attend Uptown prior to the message. This time in the service allows children to celebrate in worship by observing and participating with their families. This is a core value of Maywood. Uptown takes place in Room 211 (Senior High Room).
On Communion Sunday (typically the first Sunday of the month) children will worship with their families the entire time in the sancutary.
Leaders: Steve and Patti Hale
